I’m addicted to movies. You can enter a new world, with new rules, new aims. And it makes me dream again, somehow.
Also, no particular order in here, latest post on top.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Sex. Murder. Mystery. Welcome to the Party. An enjoyable, well thought-out story, hilarious dialogs – one of these movies you’d like to watch again, and again, and again.
Woody Allen, who wrote and directed the film, is one of the best comedians nowadays. I can’t really explain, but he – as an artist, somehow – is really likeable. His movie Scoop, starring Scarlett Johansson, Hugh Jackman, and himself, is touching, but not in this dramatical, Titanic-like way.
Written and directed by Allison Anders, Alexandre Rockwell, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez. Four reasons to watch this movie. Seriously, this is really a good watch. It’s absurd, it’s charming, it’s funny – it’s bloody. At least a bit. Some films seem so strange, that you get the feeling, they tell true stories – and this is one of them.
One of my favourite movies, although it’s quite violent. But you can’t deny the artistic aspect. I love this comic style. It’s one of those movies you watch, and immediately want to slip into the story. Be a part of it.
Das wilde Leben
It’s the story about the life of Uschi Obermaier, who was the icon of the 68-generation. Watching this movie makes me feel kinda wistful. I’d give a lot to get the chance to see the world like she did. To experience what was possible back then. To live to see these rumors, this tension, to see the world move on. To feel the Rock’n’Roll.
